The "Jobe's Relocation Test" a test for shoulder instability in which a clinican supports the unstable shoulder with the palm of his or her to "relocate" the joint to a more stable position. 

Tarian's custom-formed shields are deisgned to mimic the palm of a hand to provide a constant compressive counterforce to support the shoulder during activity.
